- The consideration of bylaws and decision-making amongst board members and staff

- Which necessary documents like an employee handbook to prepare

Cost to attend the workshop
The cost for one person to attend the workshop is $30. Additional attendees from the same organization may sign up for a discounted rate! The cost for two (2) participants from the same organization is $50. The cost for three (3) participants is $75.

About the Presenters
Bethany Ingle is a Shareholder in the Tysons Corner, Virginia office of Littler Mendelson, P.C., where she represents and counsels employers in a wide variety of industries to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws addressing discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims as well as independent contractor and workers’ compensation issues. Bethany assists clients with developing employee handbooks and workplace policies in addition to advising them on performance management, including hiring practices and termination. Bethany is a 2009 graduate of the University of Richmond School of Law and worked as an assistant public defender before practicing employment law. Bethany is licensed in Maryland and Virginia and admitted to the federal courts in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
Alex Berg is Of Counsel in the Tysons Corner, Virginia office of Littler Mendelson, P.C., where he represents and counsels employers of all sizes on a wide variety of labor and employment law issues. These issues often range from front-end training and compliance assistance to high-stakes class or collective action litigation under such laws as Title VII, the ADA, the ADEA, the FLSA, and the FMLA. Alex is a 2011 graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center, previously served as a judicial law clerk on the Maryland Court of Special Appeals and the D.C. Superior Court, and is licensed in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
