With Community Law Center’s guidance, we persevered through the difficult process of completing the paperwork and obtaining 501(c)(3) status. The staff attorney taught The St. Helena Community Association a lot about how to operate and maintain a nonprofit. Without CLC’s encouragement and persistence, The St. Helena Community Association may not have completed the application for tax-exemption.
